There are a few oddities lingering around after the upgrade:
- The galleries that I had (Christmas pictures) totally did not transfer over. Oh, well, c’est la vie. I’ll take that in trade for having a working rich text editor in Firefox, thankyewverymuch.I still have the old pictures, I’ll just need to re-upload them.
- All my comments got moved over, but they all look like they were posted by me. Oops. I took the liberty to delete some of them, as well as one entry that really would have been better off not being aired in public.
So far, though, I’m quite pleased.

…and no, I didn’t cut/dye my hair, lose weight, or switch dish soap.
Instead, what I did is upgrade my .Text installation to Community Server 1.0 and migrated my content over. Yay! Now I can actually work on learning how to better skin the thing so I get the look I want, plus I’ll be able to take advantage of some nifty new features like better photo gallery integration and forums. (Why would I need web-based forums, I hear you ask. Oh, I’ve got plans. Things like writers workshops and such.)
