First, mad props to John Peltonen, one of my three bosses. He took time out of a busy weekend to toss a few e-mails back and forth with me, helping me figure out where I’d not quite grokked the configuration of .Text. Now that the dust has settled, I’m quite happy with the results — my blog is now on my own damn server! — and I’m looking forward to being able to make better use of categories and the other features.
I need to do something about the skins, though. I’ve got a decent one for now, and one of these days when I have some spare time again, I’ll be looking into creating my own skins.
Next, I get to figure out how to hook my old Livejournal up to this blog’s feed so all of my LJ friends don’t miss a post.
